When you register, you receive all your Academy learning materials. Most importantly, this contains the pre-work for each of the 6 modules – questions for you to answer before each webinar. This ensures that you are best prepared to participate and extract the most value from the facilitator.You also receive your log-in to access the archive of recorded Academy webinars (admittedly small at the moment, but it will grow quickly).
You attend the webinars (60-90 minutes) held once a month. These are live, limited number webinars to give you a chance to participate and ask questions. If you miss one – no problem. Simply let us know in advance and we will give you a credit for the next webinar on the module you missed. Of course, you can still listen to the recording of the webinar you missed.
When you have completed your 6 modules, you are eligible to attend the Graduation Day. These will be held as numbers demand in each state. Again numbers will be limited because this will be a day facilitated by an experienced Professional Speaker where you will have every opportunity to present your ideas and questions and receive feedback.

Seeking speakers in Victoria. There is no fee available, It will be good for practice to hone your speaking skills.
The organisation is a not-for-profit called Western Region Health Centre in Nicholson St Footscray. The organisation runs a program for people with a mental health problem called Day to Day living program (D2DL). D2DL facilitates weekly programs, outing and speakers to assist clients with their recovery. As part of a new theme in the program they are assisting clients in exploring and living their purpose through recovery and are hoping that I may be able to suggest speakers. The audience will be approx. 10 clients with a range of mental health problems but are also able to function in their daily life. Some of these clients have problems caused by having a mental health problem and view life in a not so inspiring way. The presentation needs only be 40 minutes max and can focus on change, recovery, growth and self-esteem. The organisation can reimburse $50 to cover transport and travelling costs.
