Babies begin to laugh at around four months of age and by the time a child reaches grade one they are laughing on average 300 times a day! Yet as adults we manage only to laugh around 17. What happens on our path to maturity that so detrimentally impacts our ability to laugh?

Lieutenant General Morrison will speak on strategy and will draw his views from his 36 years of experience as an Army officer. Those years include time as a junior officer at the tactical level in command of a platoon of soldiers (30 soldiers); planning Regimental (700 soldiers) and Brigade (4000) operations as a lead planning officer; through to campaign planning as a brigade commander and Major General. More recently as the Chief of Army he has been responsible for planning the Army's future structure and capability, which will affect the Army (and therefore the nation) over the next 10 to 30 years. General Morrison has a Bachelor of Arts from ANU and a Masters of Strategic Studies from UNSW.
